FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE CONCRETE PRICING

Numerous factors influence the cost of concrete when you are estimating the budget for your project. To ensure that your costing falls within your budget, you need to know what these factors are.

• Volume
  You need to know how much concrete you will require. Concrete is measured in cubic metres and is usually priced accordingly.
• Levelling
  Even though you think you need small quantities for levelling an uneven surface, you should always budget for more as these jobs inevitably require more than is initially determined.
• Finishing
  There are numerous ways to finish a concrete job, from a smooth surface to an exposed aggregate surface. Different finishes require different amounts of concrete, and it will affect your overall budget.

Money-saving tips for ordering ready mix concrete

• Get the Volume Right
  The last thing you want is to be left with a massive volume of concrete unused at the end of your project. Make sure you get the quantity right, remember, you can always order more, but you can’t return any leftover concrete. Charges apply to take away excess concrete.
• Disposal Fee
  A disposal fee of $100 per m³ will be charged for any excess concrete that can not be used or disposed on site. 
• Consistency
  It’s critical that all concrete received is of the correct consistency. We put systems in place to ensure that each load that arrives is the same consistency as all the others.
• Buy Local
  Use a local supplier to cut down on transportation costs.
• Waiting Time

  Waiting time for load sizes under 1m³ charged @ $1.50 per minute after 15 minutes. For load sizes 1.1m³-2.5m³ charged @ $1.50 after 30mins. For load sizes 2.5m³+ $2.50 per minute after 45 minutes and will be charged to credit card provided at the time of placing the order.
